In addition to the kids there's also an adult class. I figured the derby is essentially a drag race so I wanted to build a historic AMC drag car. For the last couple of weeks I've been building a replica of Hayden Proffit's '68 Rebel funnycar for our derby. Of course the wheels aren't to scale so it looks a bit goofy but it really does flip up. Took a while to hollow out the body and get the body lines somewhat close. It's in primer right now but you'll get the idea. This is my second time building one, the first was when I was a tot and Dad did all the work except paint. Think you'll get a kick out of it. http://users.ksni.net/~gonzo/pwrebel1.jpg http://users.ksni.net/~gonzo/pwrebel2.jpg http://users.ksni.net/~gonzo/pwrebel3.jpg -Steve- Steve, I've seen some pinewood derby cars and yours is awsome. Especially the AMC thing. Keep us posted of the good work and the results, please! Richard Richard Estermyer 6235 S.
