Ok..this pertains to the front disk swap on my 72 Gremlin. I bought some 1977 Hornet disk assy's that were to have been from a wagon(already removed several years ago). They are the slider type calipers like the 70's Fords. NOW..when i looked em up to locate new parts on the Raybestos website it got KINDA WEIRD. It says..77 is Bendix(of course)...BUT it shows 1976-back as being the sliding bendix caliper...it does "NOT" mention sliding calipers in 1977...just says Bendix?? ANY idea whats the deal? The ###'s are different on hoses,calipers,rotors..all!! Did AMC use up old stock into 1977 and not put the info out? I know FORD did this type of substitution/changeover in mid year thing ALOT ..i worked at a FORD dealership for 15 years...sometimes it depended on the "DAY" of manufacture to get the correct thing on some parts!! HELP?? Any info appreciated. Thanks alot,Joe __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - Easier than ever with enhanced search. Learn more. http://info.mail.yahoo.com/mail_250
