My Cousin's husband took an old tube straight axle out of an old circle track car and put under his early 60's Valiant with a 440 in it. It was a light duty tube of who nows where origin and every time he would pull a hole shot the car would lift the front wheels, when it came back down to earth the axle would bend! Bummer! AMC content, don't put a light duty tube axle under the front of your 401 Ambassador! :] Mark Price ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: Reply-To: mail-From-mprice-westco.net@xxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Fri, 21 Jan 2005 13:41:54 -0500 (EST) >Rocky, when I ran my old Gremlin back in the day I >narrowed an Econoline front axle, leaf spring front >end.
