I guess I am pretty stupid, I have been browsing evil-bay for
several
years now and I even have 20 successful purchases from evil-bay
sellers.
To this day I don't understand how this crap works.

Check this item out.

It's a 70 ram air Javelin hood, now I know dang near everyone
on this
planet wants one of these hoods, cause I've been trying to get
one for
nearly 25 years. But every time I find one on evil-bay it just
begins to
spiral
out of proportion. I don't mind paying a fair price for
anything, but I hate
getting the heck whacked out of me in the process, and not
understanding
what the bejeebus happened to me. The last one I saw was even a
NOS part
that had never
been on a car. The reserve was way over $1000. Now this one is
up there at
$700 but the only other bidders were myself and another guy and
we both
stopped at well under $130. Has this guy been bidding against
himself? Or
did he just spike it to discourage others from bidding? Or, is
this another
one of those shill (spelling?) things happening. Please some one
explain to
me
what the bejeebus is goin on here !
