Re: More on Disk swap on 72 Gremlin

according to my amc parts books, for 01/40/60- not eagle 30 series:
Calpers for 79/80 4 and 6 are the same.( L and r are differnet of course)
79 and 80 4 cylidner rotors are the same part number. $140 bucks in 1987
79 and 80 6 cyl rotors are the same part number. $120 in 1987.(different from 4 cyl.
79 4cyl pads are one number. 80 4cyl is another.
79 6 cyl, except amx is another part number, and it subs up to 80 pacer 60 series.
79 amx is another number, and subs up to the # for 80 6 cyl for 01/40/30.
80 pacer 60 is different than 80 01/40/30.
My AIMPCO barke parts book basicall lists the 4 cyl pad as D90, the 6 cyl as D91 with a diffentialtion of some being semi metallic, versis organic, I guess.
rotors are 5106 for 6 cyl 79-83, eagle 80-88 5108.
rotors are 5112 for 4 cyl 78-81.
rotors for 77- 78 6 cyl is 5103.
javelin 71-74 and 74 ambo rotor with K-H is 5101. 74 ambo wiht bendix is 5102.
what were the rotors that are sadi to be hard to get or expensive? let me know i want to check with my vendor. mabye this info might help, or confuse, who knows. regards, Ken,
