United States Mass Media Putsch - OT-

To be somewhat Exacting -
prior to the deregulation of
Media Ownership - the Major
Media Ownership in the US
were roughly 540 some 12
years ago.

Today - thanks to Truth In Congress / Senate -
the Mass Media in the USA is owned by
no more than 5 major players.

Our Mass Media News - once the
only check and balance the common
man had against the Corporates and
our Governments less than friendly
schemes of occaision -
has gone the way of the Hupmobile.

Our Mass Media is scheduled for the
'Dumbing Down' of viewers - to make
them stupider in their response and
relation to events.

We still do not have Voting Machines
that are not corruptible - and which
provide a paper trail for verification.

The Media had 4 years to cover this
and extract some sort of correction.

They did nothing - and they will
continue to
misrepresent for a price.

Stay coo - be well, keep it together
and above all else ..............
keep your mouth shut.

Brien.

It seems all the news channels are owned by people with their own
view
and they don't allow others to distort it. Here in Seattle there is a
great brouhaha over dead people voting in the past election and many
live ones who weren't counted. Election was overturned on manual
recount, but we should have a revote 1/2 the population is saying and
most of the news services are pushing for that as well since the
overturn (they predicted the Republican would win by a landslide. He
won by 2 hundred something votes, then machine recount dropped it to
50 and third manual count sez 169 for the Democrats) It ain't over
cuz
the fat lady isn't even in the picture yet!

No Randy, I'm just saying that some editors won't print a certain
story, or parts of a story, that they don't like, or don't think it
will help to sell more newspapers. So don't always believe everything
you read. (TV news is much worse. If it isn't "sensational", it
doesn't make it on the tube.)

Cases in point: the Fairbanks Daily News-miner (my local paper) and
