With the motor installed I couldn't get the window down. So I was going to remove the entire regulator/motor assembly to drop it down where I could remove the retainers attaching the window to the regulator and then lower the window enough to open the tailgate and then slide it out. However the very last screw holding the regulator in place was positioned behind one of the gears in such a way that the window would have to be lowered to get the screw out. When I went back I had wrenches with me so I was able to remove the motor but when I started pushing the window down the regulator kept jamming so I had to go ahead and take it loose to get the window down. It seemed a never ending cycle.....I couldn't get the window down without removing the motor and couldn't remove the motor and regulator without lowering the window. But in the end I figured it all out and decided I never want to try that again.
