A: Not so much a change in the Jeep, but something the Eagle wasn't designed to be without (the front axle hanger) Jeep also has 4 link suspension and not IFS hung from the motor. Now I'm GUESSING the 4wd Cherokee has a C bend in the downpipe for the front drive shaft like my Eagle. It APPEARS that if this is so, I could use one of these IF I had it cut so the Eagle flange could be welded on it for the Cat seeing as this is also used as a very solid front support for the exhaust system. Anyone see any flaws in this plan. ======================== What did they do to the '91 and up Cherokee that allows them the different Header from the '87-'90 ? -or- was it just that a 'fluke' allowd the Renix exhaust manifold to fit the Eagle - and the '91+ HO Exhaust manifold is no go - unless you ditch the front driveshaft ?
