Re: Need wagoneer tailgate help

Why remove the regulator? I just took the motor off my '76 Cherokee's
regulator, and pulled down. (Using a large flat-head screwdriver, of
course!) Should drop with no problems, unless the regulator is rusted in
place.

grab him one while I was at Pull and Save yesterday. Theonly good one I
could find was in a 1978 wagoneer with electric rear window. Of course the
window was rolled up so I couldn't get it out so I was just going to pull
the regulator/motor assembly so I could get the window and because of the
position of the gears I couldn't get one of the screws out. Is there some
way to roll down these electric windows without power? if I can get the
window rolled down I can get the tailgate opened and get him the window.

(1973) isn't. Would it be possible to hook up the defroster in my dads? What
would it take to do it? Thanks in advance.
