Frank, I went back out there today and was able to get it out. Yes there are 2 bolts that the regulator arms cover but on this they were large phillips head screws. there was only one I couldn't get to the other day. There are also three 7/16 bolts that hold the motor and I was not able to get to one of those because it was behind a regulator arm and I only had sockets with me. This time I had wrenches too so I was able to remove the motor, force the window down by hand, open the tailgate and then unhook the window from the regulators. It wasn't an easy task but I was able to leave there with window in hand today. After all the trouble I went through to pull that thing I am glad they only charged me $8.00 for it. Thanks for and suggestions. Jamie On January 2, 2005 Frank Swygert wrote: > I feel for you Jamie! I've had to do this to get a regulator out of a Wagoneer. It's tough! Once you get the bolts out of the regulator you'll be able to drop the regulator and window enough to open the tailgate. You only have a small access hole to work through, so taking the window loose from the regultor is out of the question. Once the tailgate is down you can manuever it around okay, but I really don't recall it being possible with the gate up. Might be able to if someon is assisting and holds the window up (just press hard against it) before you get the last two regulator bolts out. If you have ratcheting box end wrneches take them! IIRC there is one or two bolts that the regulator arms cover, so you can't get to them with a socket. Should be 1/2" head bolts. ============================================================= Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist
