Ok, two points...have you backed off the brakes themselves with the adjuster in the back? If not, the brake pads dragging across the drum ( and the fact that there is probably a ridge in the back lip, so the brake shoes catch it ), contributes to it not budging easily. Try to back them off as much as possible first. The second area is the axle hub center, where the brake drum slips over it to center it. It gets really rusty, and the drum can't slip by the expanded rust. Take a wire wheel brush in your drill, or a hand wire brush, and clean off the center axle hub area around the circular lip as much as feasible. These two items should help, if not, lots of banging and cursing will be required to remove the drum. I've done my share, and doing these two things will help with removal, even if not a full cure for brute force. Some judicious filing of the center hole in the brake drum with minimal removal of metal before reassembly should help the next time, too.
