The Clifford can be made to work with the stock intake. Main problem is the stock intake and exhaust manifolds bolt together. You'll have to make a plate to cover the bottom of the stock intake and make sure it doesn't leak. I forget if it's open once the exhaust manifold is off or not. So tell them you have an aftermarket intake already. If the stock 72 intake won't work for some reason, you can get a stock 80-90 258 intake (84-90 is Eagle or Jeep YJ).
The Jeep headers will usually hang down way to far even if they fit. You could try one for a 4.0L, but engine mounts or steering may get in the way.
