timing chain removal

I am pulling apart an old rusted 327 and want to know how the timing gear
comes off the crank.  Do I use a puller or is there a trick?  Really want
to get this apart to get it to the machine shop.  Also, anyone have a
harmonic balancer for the 327?  Mine is toast.
