Dignity Is Tough To Find in a Blue Cloud

Good evening, fellow AMC'ers,

I'm still out here, I haven't fallen off the face of the planet, or anything like that. I'm a bit worse for wear, (divorce), but I must be fine because I'm still breathing.

Good weather has been with us, in part, in the Pacific Northwest. I have used the "sun breaks" to install new shocks and tires on the '72 Matador wagon. Whitewalls (yes, they look good). When the front end alignment was finished and the new tires were installed, the technician started the car to move it. Poof!!! A huge cloud of blue from both sides.

I was shamed into replacing all 16 valve stem seals (only five even existed, anymore). With a new oil pressure sending unit (it was leaking) and new valve cover gaskets, it is one happy Matador. Speaking of which, I think it's time for a ride!
