That makes sense Ken. So it looks like these remote turbos won't help a quarter mile car much at all because of turbo lag due to the distance away from the engine. They should, however, add power at crusing speeds where the velocity of the exhaust is fast enough out the end of the pipe. So these guys are adding mid range power -- good for cruising and towing (once under way). Like an RV cam. So no good for racers, but a turbo usually picks up 2-3 mpg. That and a little extra towing power would be nice in a truck or big SUV.
