While looking for a bellhousing, I've found an AMC vendor with
a bellhousing/transmission I'd like to use.
It's a T-150 three-speed with overdrive, bellhousing and yoke.
According to http://www.gremlinx.com/AMC-Transmissions.htm,
this combination (T150+OD) was available only on six-cylinder
Hornet/Gremlin 1974 - 1979, though the T150 was put behind V8s.
Is that true? More importantly, can anyone think of a reason
this combo WON'T fit in a Hornet? Trans tunnel and shifter
clearance are my main concerns, driveshaft and trans mount I
can deal with.
