Wouldn't most any early 70s AMC/Motorcraft 2100 work? AFAIK the only differences were the occasional jet change and some of the 360 automatics around 1971 had 1/8" larger throttle bores (another 50cfm - 1 11/16 vs 1 9/16) Later versions had bowl vent hose adapters and other emissions stuff. My 304 Spirit with 998 and 2.53:1 open diff runs mid 16s at 82 (still in 2nd gear) with the larger carb and #52 jets, plus the normal high voltage upgrade (not TFI). Everything else stock as stock (no special cam, intake, exhaust, etc.).
