I'm looking for some parts for my 65 Ambo. While I can get it started, eventually, it does not like to start. The starter makes that slooowwww sound like when the battery is near dead, even when I have my jump-starter connected to it. I'm thinking of replacing the starter, solenoid switch, and the alternator as soon as I can get the parts. That way I've got it all replaced at once and don't have to worry about any of it being bad. Any recommendations for sources of these parts besides one of the big parts stores? Am I missing anything else?
Looks like Napa has an alternator: http://www.napaonline.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ExecMacro/NAPAonline/search_results_product_detail.d2w/report?prrfnbr=28523877&prmenbr=5806&usrcommgrpid=85696052
As well as a starter w/ solenoid: http://www.napaonline.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ExecMacro/NAPAonline/search_results_product_detail.d2w/report?prrfnbr=15525666&prmenbr=5806&usrcommgrpid=62341164
