OT, but I need help!!

I don't usually post this far off topic in these two groups, but I have a problem surely someone can help with!! Don't one of you own a 93-96 Nissan Sentra with auto trans??? I'm not sure the thing is electronically controlled!! To keep OT traffic down, please reply to me directly if you can help. Couldn't find anything on the 'net!!

I'm USAF currently stationed in South Korea. I brought a little 1993 Sentra 1.6L auto trans car over with me, 150K miles on it. It just started refusing to shift gears. The repair shop on the base says it's an electronic trans and they don't have a scanner to see if it's an ECU or mechanical problem. I have some experience with a Jeep AW-4 electronic shift auto trans. The Sentra goes in gear fine, it just doesn't shift out of first. reverse if fine, fluid level is fine and fluid is not burnt. My first thought is that power to the transmission might be out, so checked fuse box on dash and fuse/fusible link block under the hood. I can't find anything labelled for the transmission. It's not easy to see everything under that crowded hood (PS, PB, AC), but I can't find any kind of fuse or circuit breaker. Maybe it has an actual fusible link in the wiring??? I don't have access to a manual either! If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. I haven't jacked the car up yet to see if I c!
an find anything from underneath. Can't easily find the wiring harness going into the tranny either!

The engine was changed out in this car almost two years ago now due to a cracked piston. Everything has been fine since then, never a tranny problem or hint of one. My guessis a connector may be bad or has come loose. Any help locating the connector and/or fuse would be greatly appreciated!!
