Welcome Brian! I'm a newbie myself, signing on a few weeks ago after buying my first project car: a '65 Ambassador 990-H. My car? rattle-can white with light rust spots. This list seems to have some real knowledgable people on it, I've read some great discussions on the history of AMC/Nash/Hudson and the few simple questions I've asked so far have always received a quick reply. There's one member who is selling me (I think I'm really stealing it!) the service manual for this car. Anyways, welcome! John M. Hello all, I just signed to the list last nite as I take delivery of my new 65 Rambler American Convertible. Ive owned a dozen mopars in my past, and this is my first "cousin car" as I belive Mopars and AMC share an uncle in their family tree. If some of you are on the Mopar Mailing List, you may know me already as the owner of Scatpack.com I hope this AMC list is as helpful and friendly as that one! Now about the car.. Some of you may have already seen my new car on Ebay as I 'almost sold' on their a month ago. (I didn't get it off Ebay though). I saw my new Rambler about 6 years ago when it was a Giveaway car for Champion Paper company. I cut and sent in my entries back then but didnt win... so I fixed the contest 6 years later and bought it! The car is white..and yellow...and brown...and red..and... Well Its hard to describe the "mod" paint job, but needless to say part of the agreement that I get the car from my wife is that I paint it ASAP! So Hello everyone! Glad to be aboard. If anyone knows anything about my cars history, please let me know (im trying to dig up the original contest ads myself) Thanks Brian H
