Wayne; a good selection of anything 14" is hard to come by these days, and you will pay more than 15". I think it's because the only ones going for custom 14" are resto rods and restorers. So people think there is a captive audience out there. Plus 15 inch wheels fill up the fenders so much better. On my 68 Ambo hdtp I had 15x7 wheels with a lot of reverse. The tires were 2.35/75 and I never had any problem with bumps, tight turns, etc. They looked nice and the car seemed to ride better on these tires than the "puny" 2.25/60-14. Those 225s are now on my American and they look good on the small body, though I ran 2.05-15s for awhile on the car and they looked just as nice. Funny how wide 14s were the thing back in the day and they look so dated now. Just stay away from those rubber bands stretched over 17inch wheels, the rides horrible on those......Russ __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? New and Improved Yahoo!
