RE: wheels and tires

Wayne-Not having actually measured, but having owned a 68 wagon and a 72 coupe in the past, I would say that you would be safe with 15x8 rims, as long as the offset wassn't too severe and you didn't try to go much wider on the tires than the rims. I had stock wheels on the waggie, with room to spare, and 15x8 American slots with G70s on my coupe. No clearance probs.-Mike

Looking at what I can do with the 69 Ambo coupe as far as wheels and
tires go. I will probably go with some coker redlines and would like to
go 15's in lieu of the factory 14's. There is a much better supply of
alum rims in 15 inch than 14 inch. What is the largest rim size and tire
size that will fit these wheel openings. Anybody done something cool?

Thanks

Wayne
