The saga continues for my 83 258 rebuild. Picked up the block at the machine shop and they showed me a pinhole that had developed in the oil pan near the drein plug. There are several other beginnigs of holes that haven't gone all the way through. Their welder said the metal was not thick enough to weld w/o warping or burning a bigger hole. I was thinking about just using my MAPP gas to heat the metal and then filling the holes with solder, possibly using the JB Weld stuff or gas tank repair material. Anyone done this before or have other suggestions? Thanks. Marty __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
