I apologize for the mess of the last email. just when I think the settings are correct from Comcast it pukes that out! ARG! If you need to go from bayonet to ring eye the off road community sell adapters that have a stud and u already made up. You bolt them into the bayonet hole and instant U for the eye shocks. You can make them to. The small Jeep XJ's had bayonets and once lifted with lots of articulation moving to ring eye was pretty much a given. I have the Gabriels on my 69 and they are a good compromise between the firmer KYB's and old hydraulics. Mine are past 12-13 years now, still work good and no signs of leakage. They called them the "classic series" back then and still had them made up and you could get them overnight. I'm ashamed to admit I put used hydraulic shocks on the back of my American, 12-13 years ago....They are showing some signs of seepage and need to be replaced, but my Subs and Amp are directly above them. Duh'oh, WAP! Smacking myself in the head for not swapping the tops to ring eye so I could change shocks without pulling that box!
