It's a long shaft low pinion D30 gears like CJs used. I had 3.08 M20 gears I was going to put in my old Eagle wagon (I bought a front with that ratio already in it) but the only MJ Model 20 axle I found had 1 shaft sold from it so I went with a Chrysler 8.25 from an XJ (about to go into my current Eagle unless someone with $2800 wants to drive it away as is along with the spare parts) 
   If you look at a Grand Cherokee (not regular) they are low pinion D30 front (not sure if long or short pinion shaft) and commonly come with Model 15/Dana 35 rears in 6 cyl rigs. 3.55 is the standard ratio, but if you find a rarish 5 speed they come with 3.08. Same thing with XJs. 6 cyl 5 speed commonly have 3.08 ratio.

How would one go about switch axle ratios in an Eagle ? !
 
D30IFS/AM20 to 3.73s ? !
 
The Model 20 was easy to find parts to change out. The D30-IFS seems to be not listed any place ? !
