Let me ask you a question,,,can you SEE any difference in the balance of the two assemblies?? The answer is you CANNOT see ANY difference in balance just by LOOKING at a part. SO,, WHEN EVER swapping parts between rotating assemblies,,, you should at LEAST have them checked. Another way of looking at it might be this. What is the cost of balancing an assembly? Usually less than $200, maybe $250? Would you pull an engine back out and tear it down to correct an out of balance problem for that amount of money?? So why not spend it BEFORE you put the engine in. To ME,,,it's worth it,, just for the peace of mind knowing you won't have that problem.
