I'm not so sure it was stock. A lot of the Jeep guys who have a problem with the stock CPS simply replace it with the HESCO relocation kit (which the latest model uses a stock CPS) so that it will be easy to replace in the field if necessary. I suspect such a mod is what you saw. I can find NO mention of a stock balancer mounted CPS on any of the Jeep boards. --------------- Date: Fri, 2 Nov 2012 12:55:27 -0700 From: Jim Blair<carnuck@xxxxxxxxxxx> It's not a rumor. Ive seen '94 with 4.0 L and harmonic balancer cps stock. '00 up Wranglers use a 999 with bell mounted CPS. I have a bare case with sensor and valvebody for $100 obo. It also is bolt in rear sprague. (I used the internals to upgrade the 999 in my previous Eagle) -- Frank Swygert Editor - American Motors Cars Magazine www.amc-mag.com _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
