Yeah, it is MUCH easier to install the strut rods with the car sitting on
its wheels.   Everything lines up much better.

Btw; you should be using the Moog style "improved-design" strut bushings
(unless you need it to be "original-looking").  They are the ones with the
built-in washers and sleeves.  Anything else won't last long.  The part
number is K3091.

Gentlemen, I am installing new strut rod bushings on my 77 AMX and I am
having a problem getting the bushings and cup to seat evenly with bracket in
other words the metal cup is tilted and almost in contact with bracket. Car
is on jack stands and am wondering if weight should be on the wheels any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
