Hi:
There is another way people can participate and not repost previous 
postings.
Send a new email instead of *"hitting reply"* when the list comes to a 
person in digest form. If a person does not want emails on an individual 
basis, then this is an alternative to receiving multiple emails and 
still being able to receive this list in digest form.
*Don't just hit reply, send a new email which would not repost the whole 
digest. *_I don't believe the problem is with the phones but with 
individuals just hitting "reply" which reposts the whole digest posting 
when they only want to reply to one message_.  This would solve the 
problem with people who are using phone devices, nobody would have to 
trim previous postings. This is an alternative to solving the problems 
of repeating the whole digest multiple times.
Just a thought that would be considerate to everyone while not burdening 
anyone.
