It is indeed an AMC 360 (required by their rules to be from the OEM manufacturer I think) http://www.themotorreport.com.au/53434/jim-richards-unveils-new-amc-javelin-tcm-car Jim Blair, Lynnwood, WA '87 Comanche, '83 Jeep J10, '84 Jeep J10 From: "Armand Eshleman" <aje1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "AMC, Rambler, Nash, Jeep and family" <amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [AMC-list] Jim Richards AMX Javelin Reveal - first video TouringCar Masters Unveil AMC Muscle - YouTube Message-ID: <6D5169EC31CF40B394D39424EB256AA4@computzer3> Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="iso-8859-1"; reply-type=original WOW ! TOO AWESOME, THANKS FOR POSTING When you're watching this video, pause it at the engine compartment views, 1. Where's the distributor? electronic crank triggered ignition? 2. Are those larger black hoses running down between the valve covers and intake manifold cooling hoses? 3. The aluminum fabricated valve covers are huge ! notice the holes for bolting them on are well inside the edges of the cover. 4. The chassiss bracing is mounted through the firewall and goes near the shock tower, also bracing is attached immediately in front of the shock tower and straddles the engine compartment in front of the carburetor. 5. front suspension appears to use the factory sway bar position and mounting method. 6. What intake manifold is this? Most importantly, the engine in the track video sounds very healthly. I'm excited to see and hear a lot more about this car ! !
