The other options are to just put the item number EG: 110827944352
or parse the url down and cut it off at the ? behind the item number like this:

The latter allows others to copy your search info too. (my own are often "proprietary" and make sense only to me, but I find unusual stuff that way)

Andrew, concerning the uber long URLs I seem to encounter that with many websites, whether ebay, flickr, even facebook, not sure why 
some of the URL's are now over 200 characters long. I used the Tiny URL site only in pinch when some URLs are disgustingly long. On 
the ebay one below for the million dollar AMC part, I just copied it directly from site and this appears:

for instance, not the smaller one you had down below. Maybe there is trick I am missing perhaps? Note the seller dropped it down 
from million dollars down to $100 now. I wonder what their original listing fee might have been with that million dollar hit. 
Probably as much as the new Nike Galaxy shoes are selling for I should have stood in line overnight :~P
