Re: [AMC-list] late sixties world of American Motors

Trivia about the movies:

The white with green trim glider (sail plane) in the AMX? portion of the movie
is a Blanik L-13 made in 1967. It is still on the FAA registry, owned as below:

N-number                       : N5752S Aircraft Serial Number : 173347
Aircraft Manufacturer          : PETILETKY STROJIRNY PRVNI NP
         Model                 : L-13 BLANIK
Aircraft Year                  : 1967
Owner Name                     : SILVERCREEK GLIDER CLUB
Owner Address                  : 7410 ROCKWELL RD
                                 NEW DOUGLAS, IL, 62074-2204
Type of Owner                  : Corporation
Registration Date              : 27-Sep-2002
Airworthiness Certificate Type : Standard
Approved Operations            : Normal

The old American Airlines Boeing 727 in the Javelin/stewardess sequence has
either been scrapped or had it's registration number (N1987) reassigned.  That
registration is now assigned to a

Bombarier business jet.

The above data obtained from the FAA registry database this morning.
