all amcs from '67 on had saginaw boxes. what's your reason?
if you want to go power, the factory setup used an adapter plate that
bolted to the chassis and had the saginaw ps pattern on it, but a
chevy vega ps box has the old manual box bolt pattern and should go on
directly. it's very popular with hot rodders for that reason, and as
a result the supply is good.
