For additional clarity, I'm guessing if you choose to switch to an automatic, you'll find that the hole in the floor that came from the factory will NOT have to be altered to make things fit. You would need a brake pedal from an auto car or you coul djust use the smaller pedal that's there.
Glad you decided to keep the Donny, if you do decide to sell it later on, let me know, I have always wanted a 70 MD Jav with a 390 four speed.

I will research the T-5 swap. I guess I'd need a different bell and of courseclutch. I really don't want to cut the tunnel for the auto. I almost did adumb thing this am and trade Donny for the red/red Donohue on Ebay. I spoke with owner (real nice guy) & it needs alot of little things. I just couldn't justifiy trading a $18-20k car for a $12-15k car. And my Hunni sid " Y U K" with the red on red. Gotta keep the co-pilot/navigator happy :). Thanks forth kudos guys!! Donny is a keeper at this point. _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxhttp://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
