[AMC-list] annoying and a 65 440-h for sale

Where the hell do these things come from. Loads of fun for a minute. So anyways.....I talked to a guy at the Rickreal swap meet about two 440-Hs he has. One is a hdtp and the other isn't. I looked at them and I am interested in the hdtp and not the ragtop. He wants to sell them both, so if anyone wants the convert let me know.
They are both small sixes and fairly straight, no serious damage that I saw. The hdtp runs, so he says, and the conv has the engine and tranny out. Clear titles but the conv is Texas titled. The top is toast and the windshield cracked. I am going to go over there on Saturday and see if the DTP runs and check them out further. I will report then about the condition of the conv. If you are just kicking tires, please wait until then but if someone is serious about getting this rag top, then call me. It is located in Salem, Oregon and it is in a garage, so no muddy field or hauling out of the briers issues....Russ  503-589-9845
