i know the answer before i post, but i thought i'd give it a chance (email is cheap!)... in a week or two i will be clearing out some rambler parts. nothing precious, all cast iron and cores. these are free for the taking, i will not deliver (you wouldn't want to pay anyways) and are in Los Angeles CA. they will be scrapped if no one takes them. these are very low value items. 195.6 OHV head. this is the one i rebuilt in 2007, with clean but used valves and springs. the motor it was on was torn down due to water in the oil, but i'm fairly sure it was the gasket not a crack in the head. this head was crack-checked before i built it. the valves have thin-ish lips but are all OK. Probably could use a disassembly, cleaning, reassembly. with rocker assembly, no pushrods (hard to find, i'm keeping them all). 195.6 OHV block, has been bored in the past, needs another, no known cracks etc. 1963 I think. (i have a clean one stored indoors) two 195.6 cranks, both volcano butts, which means no one wants them (eg only for early auto trans). one has been resurfaced. manual trans and later autos want the flat-faced crank flange, same as the early 232. these cranks are not that type. generator and starter cores, but early and late type. for six cyl. more, but even less notable. yeah, junk. just culling the bottom of the piles taking up far, far too much space, of stuff that i will never use. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
