Don't have a flexplate, (have one for a '69 290) but the error was zero balancing the flexplate. Adding a weight in the correct position will get rid of the vibration. I've been looking for that info to have the 327 flywheel I have rebalanced for my 290 that is going in place of the 360 in my '82 Honcho this summer with an AX-15 trans.

(Speaking of AX-15, I have a 2wd one for sale for $75 without the bell housing if anyone is interested)


Hoping to find a flexplate for a 1971 Ambassador.  It has the 360 V8 with the Borg Warner transmission.  
I had it worked on a couple weeks ago and the mechanic pulled the engine to reseal it to get rid of some bad leaks.  
In the process he found the flexplate was missing teeth so he put a new ring on it and had it ballanced.  
Now it has a vibration at high rpms both moving and parked.  I have been trying to find this part 319 6874.  
Only thing I can find is one made for racing for about 400$.  Rather than having him take it apart and trying again 
to have this one worked on, I was hoping to just find one and not have to go through trial and error to get the vibration out.  
I've been waiting six years to get this car on the road, and this seems to be my last hurdle.  
It was fun to finally drive for a day, until I hit the freeway and really noticed the vibration.  
Thought it was a driveline issue but a driveline shop said that was all okay and that It was a motor problem.  
I have started calling vendors on the planet houston website and looked on ebay with no luck.  Anybody got any ideas.
