Butch; When you get a chance write in and tell us all how the trip went. I did the same trip when I bought a car in Idaho and I have done the same a couple of times. 
A couple of guys bought a 67 Rebel wagon that I mentioned on the list but I never heard how the trip went. They came up on the Greyhound and drove the car back to SF. Im sure some of us who wonder how to get a car back to its new stable would like to hear the story......Russ
