simple answer to that --
all v8 amcs got amc20 rears
all ambassadors got amc20 rears, even with six power
iirc some time about '67 or '68, they stopped making big car amc15s
and all big cars got amc20s across the board.

if your car has the perfectly round diff cover [think ww1 helmet] with
12 bolts, it's am amc20.
