Specifically it's a 72-79 232 crank, which means Chrysler auto trans. Stroke will be the same as early models, difference is in rod length. Crank will interchange with the early one regardless of block. The Chrysler auto crank should take an early manual flywheel, but of course won't work with a BW auto. ------------------- Date: Sun, 30 Jan 2011 10:23:28 -0800 (PST) From: Joe Fulton<piper_pa20@xxxxxxxxxxx> Found a web reference to the crank casting numbers and I have a 4722 crank so it's a 232 after all. -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://www.amc-mag.com (free download available!) _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
