Jeep used Buick nailhead TH400 auto with the V8s since '66 when the Super Wagoneer came with 327 (I still go to call it Nash) and later with Buick motors, then also with AMC 360s '70 up. The '70 had a flexplate different than later ones. (I spent a lot of time trying to find one, then gave up and just swapped the teeth) The early one had 3 bolt balancer and later was 4 bolt. I had fun putting a GM Alt on it!
