I have some unused Koni's somewhere at home which I bought for my 76 Gremlin.  
They will probably fit an AMX just fine.  All AMCs are the same, right?   The 
Javelin is just a Rambler American with nicer lines?

Seriously, I'll see if I can find them and I'll provide the part number, if so.

Keep in mind that bayonet ends are easily converted to ring eye ends by adapters 
made for jeeps. 

  Critical length,compression.extension and comparison between intended vehicle 
and what you plan to use it on should all be considered.

thanks for your reply. I have a 68 AMX. I have looked at a number of
sources including classic garage and no luck. Also been keeping an eye out
on eBay. Any suggestions
