So a number of months ago I picked up the 4 door 63 classic from Woodland that some one posted. The throttle was disconnected and I figured out how it goes together, and when the motor isn't running the throttle movement is smooth. Once the motor is started there is a hard spot right when you first try to ease onto the gas. Do I have something adjusted wrong? is it supposed to be like this? Also I rebuilt the carb and accidentally broke what looks like a clay coupler for the exhaust nipple to choke tube, not that the choke is really needed here in so. cal in the summer, but it would be nice to have it functional if need be.
