I think it is torsion bars, forgot about that! My main point was that the FOR Twin Traction Beam and early Jeep IFS both use a single u-joint to "break" the axle in the center and don't change camber at the wheel end. The u-joint at the wheel is for turning only. That's the ONLY similarity they have -- I think that's what Peter was pointing out, how the suspension is held on and sprung is very different between the two. ------------- Date: Sat, 05 Jun 2010 19:48:42 -0600 From: Ken Ames<ameskg@xxxxxxxxx> Looks like torsion bar suspension off the upper arms too. : ) Ken -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://www.amc-mag.com (free download available!) _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
