hey tom, ontop of all that, dont forget, you got cast iron and aluminum. the
al is a totally different cat. different oil pan, pump, head, hell, the valve
covers dont interchange. the timing gears/chains are different, cam, lifters,
rocker arms, valves, springs, pushrods, ect cant think of more off the top of
my head, but i know there are a lot more diffrences. they really are strange
motors to get to know. thats yet another reason why i love them. SO
interesting.
