Yeah, the cheese grater was taking too much off. I switched to using a metal wheel on the end of a 3/8" electric drill. Think it's for rust and all that good stuff. Anyway - when I let the bodyfiller get close to dry and hit it with the wheel, it comes out fairly okay. Needs sanding after that - but it's much better than the grater. Hitting it with 80 grit sandpaper sounds like a good idea, too. I'm in no hurry. I want to get it looking nice, and hanging in the garage at night is a good way to spend an evening. Wrangler - thanks for the advice on painting. I will hit it one panel at a time, going nice and slow. I figured I'd learn on the popup first, then maybe hit some dents and scratches in my refrigerator white Corolla, then try my hand at the Rambler once I have a better idea of what to do. _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
