I believe I said to reinforce the bumper with something. The one I put on a past Rambler had a straight 1/4 inch plate running the length of the bumper. It was bolted to the bumper mount location with a piece of angle iron (two holes each side) Then in the center of the brace for pulling support, we ran a strap to another location. This was done on a wagon, but the bumpers are equally thin. All bolts and no welding. Drill right through the bumper and brace with strap and attach the bumper mount. The bumper was a rusted out beater that was used for hauling junk so I felt comfortable in drilling the bumper.....Russ _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
