What I tried to say in my post and that Rocky picked up on, there was no Matador Machine. There was the Go-Machine package offered for the Matador. The only exterior feature of this performance package (and that's all it was) was the 15 inch styled steel wheels, commonly referred to as Machine Wheels. It was analogous to the Go Package offered for the Javelin or 'AMX. The individual items could be ordered as there was nothing unique except the hood scoop on the Matador (the original Machine -- I don't think it was with the 71 package) and the duck-tail spoiler and Donohue signature sticker on the Donohue. You just got a price break on the Machine when ordered as a package. I don't recall if the 71 had "machine" decals on it or not. --------- -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
