Jim, The 42RH is very doable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you contact our local AMC club member, John Donato, here in Michigan and discuss this. He is the NAMDRA transmission tech contact and knows what needs to be done to run the Jeep OD transmissions behind an AMC. He has built a variety of them and could set you up. Here is his contact information. Donato's Transmissions John Donato 3096 W. Maple St., Wixom MI 48393 248-624-4964 As to your question about the TBI kit ... Holley makes one, as does Howell Engineering. We just recently installed the Howell TBI kit on the 360 in my buddy's Grand Wagoneer, before it drove from MI to Guatemala in Central America, for missions work. The Howell kit is the cat's meow. Howell is on the web at www.howellefi.com Sincerely, Greg Taylor Rochester Hills, MI 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer "TRMN8R2" 330-CID AMC Stroker V8 ________________________________ From: "jimlovelace@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx" <jimlovelace@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sat, January 9, 2010 8:47:01 PM Subject: [AMC-list] 42re (greg taylor) you mentioned 42re. the car is basicly old-school. i do want to beef it up but keep old-school. what about 42rh? jc witney has a tbi kit that looks like a 4bbl holly. did anybody try it yet? _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
