My little 80 spirit with the Iron Duke 4-cylinder had the 904.  So that car had a unique transmission.  A Chrylser transmission capable of going behind a GM four or six cylinder engine. I bent the flex plate while installing the engine and it was very difficult to find a new one.  I supposedly got the last one in one of the big chain auto part's inventory.  I forget who the vendor was.
